we are not always so "competitive" in the way you might think.  we only want to
improve our games in general and have fun.  i travel to all the major
tournaments, but that doesn't mean i want to stomp you in some ego silliness. 
i'd love to meet you and play and talk/teach  about things.

i can improve your game 1000% in one lesson most likely for free.  there aren't
too many public tables around here and it is my goal to find more.  there is one
in neshaminy mall, one in university city, many of us have our own, and some at
various other places that are not tournament sanctioned for various reasons
(like the one at the regal movie theatre at 611 and county line road) ... anyway
...

email me or call me (james) 215.200.6720 and we will talk more.  there are some
really good tables in atlantic city that we use quite a bit.  i was just there
last week and might be again this friday, but i am not sure yet.

alot is going on actually with air hockey as the world championships are coming
soon to a vegas hotel near you.  flights are getting stupid cheap and the hotels
are just as desperate for business.  the tournament is march 13-15.

on another note, i found a location in newark delaware called vince's sport's
club that has two blue top tables (50 cests a game) in excellent condition. 
regular players are there as well.

i also went down to the universtiy pinball arcade in university city the other
night to see if they still existed.  they have a new table that plays great.  a
groupd of us are trying to make it down there on thursday the 4th (next week)
because from 2pm to 2am they have a five dollar charge (in advance) or $7 at the
door for ALL the games in the place set on free play.  that is potentially 12
hours of air hockey for 7 bucks.  the table is normally a dollar a game.  there
are regular players there all the time now from the old school ... dragon ...
tyrone ... dimitrius ... and they are EXCITED to get things going on a more USAA
oriented level and just to simply have good players there consistently.

mike daniels is checking on a bluetop that we know of in quakertown as well.

if anyone knows of another table ANYWHERE please let me know asap.  hopefully
not the crappy hot flash 2 tables with the black lights and the yellow rails ...
but i would like to know where they are as well in generaL ...

we have been meeting every sunday about 4:30 or 5pm until 8pm in lansdale.

140 orvilla rd. at the intersection of 63 (welsh) and orvilla.

the place is called caitlyn and cody's fun house.  it is an arcade setting, so
bring the kids if you have them...  though at that time we are usually the only
ones there ... so the environment is perfect for your pucking pleasures...

they have a fantastic blue top and we are going to start weeklies when more cats
get out of their bags...  locals are also playing there on saturday nights as
well when they are open until 10pm.

I'm arranging a local tournament in New York for a group from Boston ~
a new air hockey player base that I've been encouraging. I need a nice
representation from Philly for this gathering. I'm going to try to have
4 from NY, at least 4 from Philly, and perhaps up to 6 from Boston.

This is not to go out on the public air hockey forums. These newbies
are in early development and need the best hospitality we can offer to
bring them to the next level.

to let me know if you can make it up that afternoon / evening for some
air hockey fun: perhaps a short format tournament and an "air hockey"
crawl at different AH locations in NY.... and perhaps a contest of

I am not sure specifically, but generally on weekends,
sat or sunday if i can convince some of my friends.
where will this be held, at willow grove? I got my air
hockey table today!! Not close to pro level, but a 7"
& 4" for $240 (Harvard table from Sears).
