You've gotten some good advice. I agree with the consensus that you should do Evergreen, but at your HIM pace. Then enjoy the day with your fellow Tri-P's!

Ok, so the last race I was planning on doing prior to my 70.3 debut at Steelhead was the Decatur tri (just under Olympic distance) on July 5th. It's looking like that may not work out, so I was wondering for you 70.3 vets out there, whether you think racing Evergreen on July 18th would be too close to my 70.3 race (August 1st). That gives me 2 full weeks in between. Judging by how I felt after the Olympic I raced last weekend, that would be enough time, but I've got a friend whose coach advises no races within 4 weeks of your 70.3 race. Just looking for other opinions out there.
