Flight 93 Sept 11, 2003..... ~ TODAY I want all of us to ponder what we would
have done if we were on that ill fated flight...... ~ IN 1976 my baseball mentor
and dear friend BOB NEAL ordered like 10,000 bumper stickers that said Peminsula
Pilots...Really Nice logo...It said WELCOME ABOARD and in the corner it said
1976......WELL we gave out maybe 1,000 of those that season..SO we didn't want
to waste them...So Bob ordred little white stckers to cover up the
1976......Great idea huh?...Nope...The sun bleached right through them and the
1976 still showed....So we then stated cutting the edge off where the 1976
was.......10 years later when I was running the team we still had hundreds of
those dreadfull things left....Moral of the story...DON'T DATE NOVELITY
ITEMS.....From "Big League Dreams"...... ~ TODAY'S MAYBERRY MOMENT...Post Office
boxes...I have always had one wherever I have lived...Usually around 50 bucks a
year at a small post office...Here 22 bucks for ONE YEAR....Cool..... ~ PULL THE
TARPS.....GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME....That's the weekend "Field" My name will
