> BREEZE....THIS DAY THOSE ARE HONORED WITH GUN SALUTES AND REMEMBERED
> WITH THEIR FAMILIES TEARS....BUT WHY WERE THEY TAKEN FROM US AT THEIR
> PRIME....DID THEY NOT DESERVE THE BLESSING OF LONG LIFE...WOULD THEY
> NOT WISH TO HOLD THEIR CHILDREN AND SEE THEIR DAUGHTERS MARRY...WHAT
> DID THEY PURCHASE WITH THEIR YOUTH AND LIVES...A LONELY COLD SLEEP IN
> NEAT ROWS...OR THE PLAYING OF MEMORIAL TAPS...NO THEIR PRICE WAS TOO
> HIGH...THEY BOUGHT THE FUTURE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND OURS...OH YES
> AND MUCH MORE...FOR IT WAS THEY WHO GAVE US FREE AIR TO BREATHE...AND
> TO OTHERS, LANDS WHERE OPPRESSION IS NO MORE...BECAUSE OF THEM
> TYRANNY HAS NOT REPLACED COMMON RULE...BECAUSE OF THEM DESPOTS AND
> DICTATERS TUMBLE...AND WHILE NATIONS HAVE BEEN SET FREE...AND THEIR

> BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO GO...NOW IT IS OUR DUTY TO REMEMBER
> ...AND NEVER FORGET....

*TODAY's Birthday - JOHN WAYNE (mAY 25) no greater an American he..

* Peninsula WAR Memorial Stadium..I cap WAR because for
> awhile in the 70's it was dropped from the name. The Stadium opened
> in 1948 and was named in honor of WAR WAR I and the recently won WAR
> WAR II. However in the late 1960's and early 1970's the Vietnam War
> had split the Nation and "WAR" was dropped...Sad but luckily untrue.
> When the Phillies returned to the Hampton,Virginia Stadium in 1976 my
> Mentor Bob Neal did some researching and found that no vote had
> actually ever taken place..Thus WAR was returned to the official
> name...From "BIG LEAGUE DREAMS"...

*TODAY We are NOT Democrats..We are NOT Republicans - WE ARE GRATEFUL
AMERICANS!! THANK A
VETERAN TODAY!!

*RAISE THE FLAG..."REMEMBER
> THR REASON FOR THE SEASON" Many of us hear and say that at
