CLOSER......~ MY VIEW...OK I know that is a line that is over used. But lately
it seems that our "friends" are becoming enemies. I did not do a Field
yesterday..I was just to angry. I was taught to never do anything when I was to
angry...On Tuesday I did a rant on France and Germany...Here is why I am
mad...Let's throw out the issue of war in Iraq for a moment...Let's talk about
loyality....France and Germany are not just holding up the United Nations..But
now NATO...NATO was formed to fight the terror of communism - A terror that we
defeated...A group that didn't have the far left countries that the UN has..A
group that always stepped up and defended it's members....In the 60's France did
pull out of NATO for a short time..They came back as a non military
member...France ..A country that would be speaking German now if the United
States had not liberated it...Thousands of our brave died there and are buried
there...Germany a country that has tried to take over the World several
times...We defeated them..We rebuilt them..We protected them from East
Germany...We demanded that The Berlin Wall be torn down and we helped them
reunite....Fast forward to 2002...The winning party actually won by running as
anti United States....Shameful!!...They also are doing things that could well
end NATO...So here is what I suggest...Pull out all our troops and weapons from
Germany and move them to Poland..They want us...Raise the tax on imported France
wine....bottled water...etc to a level that will hurt them..Not hurt them so
much overall but to prove a point And when terror hits countries in the World
that do not support us on our war on terror and it will happen - don't answer
the phone...Tell them to go to the United Nations..Let that weak body help
them...Take care of Countries that are our friends..Let loyality guide our
policy..I am not suggesting we withdraw from the World..No I am suggesting that
we treat countries the way they treat us...We actually have most of the world
with is...Most of Europe...But France and Germany are turning their backs on
us....It will take many years for Americans to trust these "friends"
again....Trust..But Verify...And finally...We really do need France if we go to
war with Iraq...Someone has to show Iraq how to surrender..That's the Thursday
Field...Let's Roll!!;
