In the market for a "crappy" looking bike

Hello there!

After only a week at Davis, my daughter's mountain bike was stolen
last night in one of those mass raids that decimates the racks of all
bikes that look in the least bit appealing (read all the FRESHMAN
bikes). So...we are now in the market for a high functioning
"clunker" that we are willing to take off your hands at a moment's
notice in exchange for a fair price or delicious home made apple pie
(you choose). I'm hoping to find something in the West Bay Area
(Stanford, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mtn View, Sunnyvale, PV, LA, etc.),
or near Fremont, Newark, or Union City, .

Let me know if you have such a bike in your garage. Dusty is ok. Flat
tires are ok. Working brakes are definitely a plus!
