Hope all is well.
Our RAAM team for a soloist, named Michael Cook lost a crew member who has to
replaced soon.
Is anyone interested in crewing and being a bike mechanic for a soloist with a
team of 5? You would be the sixth team person. Or, do you know anyone who can
crew and be away two weeks starting June 15th who's character is:
A responsible car driver.
Has some functional bike mechanic skills (especially tune ups and cable
changing)and other established bike repair knowledge excluding major component
or frame rebuild types of work. We'll find bike shops along the way to do major
kinds of mechanical work if needed.
Is level headed, calm spirited, responsible, committed and has a sense of
adventure and humor for such a huge event?
If you know of someone, please let me know.
The head of the team and cyclist would pay for room and board. Included also is
either a flight back to California from Annopolis MD unless the person wanted to
return to Calif. in the crew's rented RV and help with the driving on the return
trip.
This is not an easy event but at the same time exciting for the right person who
loves cycling and would enjoy traveling across the USA from Oceanside to
Annapolis, MD in 10 to 12 days supporting a fine cyclist.
Thanks All!
