Soos, were you aware of this road closure?

Fairfax-Bolinas Road

to be partially closed for repairs
Slide repairs to be made 11/10/08 through 1/10/09

Partial closing of Fairfax-Bolinas Road from November - January 30, 2009 to make slide repairs.  (mileposts 2.26, 5.08 and 8.46).

Due to the limited road width at milepost 8.46, the road is required to be expected to be closed until 1/30/09. The dates may vary. The road will be closed to all through traffic including pedestrians and cyclists from just west of the Cataract Trail Head milepost 8.13 to Ridgecrest Blvd. The construction at the other two locations will require a lane closure and traffic control.

Signs indicating the roadwork have been placed near Ridgecrest Boulevard, the Fairfax town limit, and Highway 1 at Bolinas Road
