Good question came up – this is for
Men and Women. We no longer offer the women only rides because we cannot
recruit enough women to lead or sweep.
The rides are limited to men who are
riding with a female friend or spouse OR men who are VS members. Thanks,
Bekki
Hello everyone. I would like some input and feedback
for training rides for the Cinderella. I cannot take the lead on the
rides this year because I don’t know my availability yet. The
LunaChix will be helping lead these rides and will be bringing goodies.
But we need to know how many are willing to help lead and/or sweep the
rides. The dates are:
January 10th – 20 miles
January 24th – 25 miles
January 31 – 30 miles
February 7th – 40 miles
February 21st – 50 miles – this is
the Jelly Belly ride
March 7th – 62 miles – Allerednic or
some derivative
March 21 – 40 miles
We have the routes and route sheets from last year –
it you want to take the lead on one of these distances and want to change the
route – we can discuss before we update the website.
Remember, sometimes we have as many as 80 women show
up. So we need starting locations with bathrooms nearby and plenty of
parking. These distances will probably seem short to
Some of you, but we usually get everyone back to the parking
lot safely and then go out for additional miles – so don’t let
mileage scare you away.
I would also like to meet with everyone who is
willing. We need to meet with the LunaChix as well. Sometime
between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We can meet for pizza or meet at my
house-
Whatever the majority prefer. I will toss out a few
dates –
Tuesday, December 2
Thursday, December 4
Monday, Tuesday or Thursday the 8th, 9th
or 11th
December 16th
So, let me know if you would like to help lead or sweep one
or more rides. If you would be willing to come to a meeting on a date
listed above – which dates work for you.
If you would be willing to participate but can’t make
a meeting.
Suggestions or comments…………..
This should get the ball rolling. I can e-mail anyone
who is interested in the route sheets.
Thanks everyone,
Bekki Livingston
