HI Friends/Commrades,

Thank you to those that responded earlier

My friend has graciously offered her home as a starting point and finishing
point for recreation afterwards. Please note the directions to her home in
Pleasanton. We will cycle the Sunol/Calaveras route and there are options on
this route.

My cell is 650-995-6453. Roll time is 0900, and it is this coming Sat. Nov. 1.
We have some Scorpios to celebrate. MM: are you doing your fixie? Rick? Kim?

So let's plan on a 9 AM departure since some of you have to come
from a ways. We'll leave from my house as there's plenty of parking in
the court and around. I live at 1420 Parkview Ct., Pleasanton. Take
the 680 out this way to the 580 interchange. Then take Hopyard exit.
Go south past Black Avenue towards downtown Pleasanton. Turn left onto
Golden, (one street past Black). Turn right onto Harvest Rd. Turn left
into the first street which is Parkview Ct. Riders are welcome to use
the facilities at my house before we leave.
We'll ride out to Sunol and then climb Calaveres out to Milpitas. We
can use the facilities in the regional park before turning around and
heading back.
This is just short of 50 miles and the colors at this time of year are
phenomenal. We should be back by 2 the latest, and if you like, we can
plan on a pot luck afterwards. Everybody can bring a dish to pass and
their swim suits, and we can sit around, have a drink and some nosh
together.
