Danny,
Thank you for organizing the ride to Luverne and back! We all had a great time,
and we really appreciated the hospitality of your friends and Becky's sag
support.

Wow you can ride on rollers, I can only do that if i am in a doorway and have a
death grip on the door frame. It is a trainer for me.

Fellow cyclists. Thanks to all who answered my request for advice on
pedals. After reading what you all wrote and doing a little research on
my own, I decided to go with Look and found a good price on a pair of
2010 Keo2 Max pedals. I will ride with them for the first time this
weekend.
That said, I now have two pairs of Look-style Shimano pedals and red
cleats which are excess to my needs. Both pairs of pedals show their
age but work flawlessly. One set of cleats is a bit worn but functional
and the other set is virtually new. If anyone is interested in these I
would love to see them find a good home for a very modest price.
I also have a beautiful pair of nearly new Ambrosio race wheels with new
19mm Conti tires on them that I have no need for and would love to pass
on to someone who could use and appreciate them.
Paul in DeFuniak Springs
See you there.

Pace about 20mph.
Joe,
Seat and butt is only rated for 90ish miles. I think I am going to look for a
ride at Bailey Bridge. Have fun on the double Century.

Joe, come run Draggin' Tail
tomorrow. An 18 mile run in the hills of Sunny Hills would be a good
re-entry point for your running to become a Born-Again-Trigeek.

Jeremy,
Are you the Jeremy from the 601st? A couple of us are off Monday and plan on
ridding Pine Log around 10:00 followed by lunch at Five Guys. You are welcome
to join us if you are off this Monday. That goes for anyone else too.

Shane,
Are you wanting to play in the dirt again? Google maps (satellite view) shows
them as dirt roads.

Can I make a suggestion? I've always wanted to explore Double Pond on Brown Rd
and Pleasant Ridge Rd. Doesn't that sound Pleasant? (look NE of Kidd and
zoom in)Â I don't think it would add that much more to the ride...

We will go up CB whitehead, then up cemetery hill and turn left to Knoxhill and
then on to De Funiak Springs. After water stop we will continue on down Hwy 90
to (kidd Rd) or County Hwy 183N and then on to Ponce DeLeon and back to Red Bay
Grocery store.

While on this subject, I'm in the market for a mtn bike in the 500 to 800$ range. Prob need med, 19 inch size. About to pull trigger on a new one from bikesdirect if a good well- depreciated used one doesn't pop up.
