Wow you can ride on rollers, I can only do that if i am in a doorway and have a
death grip on the door frame.  It is a trainer for me.

Fellow cyclists.  Thanks to all who answered my request for advice on
pedals.  After reading what you all wrote and doing a little research on
my own, I decided to go with Look and found a good price on a pair of
2010 Keo2 Max pedals.  I will ride with them for the first time this
weekend.

That said, I now have two pairs of Look-style Shimano pedals and red
cleats which are excess to my needs.  Both pairs of pedals show their
age but work flawlessly.  One set of cleats is a bit worn but functional
and the other set is virtually new.  If anyone is interested in these I
would love to see them find a good home for a very modest price.

I also have a beautiful pair of nearly new Ambrosio race wheels with new
19mm Conti tires on them that I have no need for and would love to pass
on to someone who could use and appreciate them.

Seat and butt is only rated for 90ish miles.  I think I am going to look for a
ride at Bailey Bridge.  Have fun on the double Century.

Can I make a suggestion?  I've always wanted to explore Double Pond on Brown Rd
and Pleasant Ridge Rd.  Doesn't that sound Pleasant?  (look NE of Kidd and
zoom in)  I don't think it would add that much more to the ride...

I have a pair of late 90s Ambrosio straight-laced deep dish race wheels shod with 19mm ultra-high pressure Conti tires.  They have never been raced and have less than 100 miles on them.  I include one spare tube.  I kept these gorgeous polished alloy wheels when I sold my old bike but the new one came with Rolfs so I have no use for the Ambrosios.  I don't think they still manufacture this exact model anymore but you can check out their current products to get an idea of their quality and prices here:
