Paul -- if your out there!! rumor has made it to
Aspen, that KK (the Messiah) still believes in you like
the rest of us die-hard geordies and England fans.
Being that I played against you for North Tyneside
schools back in the early eighties, watched your first
and last games for the Toon before leaving for Aspen,
and have followed your career my whole life i'm gonna
give you this straight:i know that: if Jordan can come
back at age 33 and set the world a light, and Lance
Armstrong can battle back from cancer to win the TDF, then
you can without a doubt in my mind or that of many
others come back into the England team and do the same.
Your blessed with vision and skill that allows you to
open play and change the flow, do the unexpected and
penetrate defences with supreme passes and beating a player
or two (not more). Ihave watched Englands last few
performances and it is obviuos they need your ability, so do
us all a favor-- believe in your sel,f accept the
challenge the critics lay down to you and shine in your
