Redskins drafted two QB's and no WR's then released their best WR.
Gaffney knows the Pats system. Would be surprized if he wasn't on the
Pats radar. Hopefully he's not looking for the big payday.

Hard to understand why the Redskins would release him. Really! (Money? I doubt that he had that big a contract with them.)
I'd be very happy if the Patriots signed him. He's tough, and he's "clutch". Better, IMO, than Stallworth.

The Patriots just announced that Jabar Gaffney has signed with
the Patriots. Looks like there will be lots of competition in training camp at
the WR position!
Wow... I wonder who is going to make the team? This is going to be a crazy training camp for WR.

I respected Junior Seau as an opponent but absolutely loved him as a Patriot! This is sad news inded. Apparent suicide which is being compare to Bears Safety Dave Duerson's. Both men shot themselves in the chest presumedly so that they could preserve their brains for further research into head trauma from football.

This is great news. Too bad it is tempered by the sad news of the day.

Very sad, indeed. As Baze said, I cannot fathom such depth of despair, that
would bring one to that point. A great player and a respected team mate.
R.I.P. Junior.

Guess this is more of a no-brainer than a shocker. Welcome home
Jabar!
Training camp should be very entertaining this year, trying to stuff 40
lbs of talent into a 20 lb roster.

Apparently there's a Super Bowl tonight, and the Patriots are in it. Why else would they release Underwood?

Very, very sad. I have never heard anything negative about Junior
Seau, whether a Very, very sad. I have never heard anything negative
about Junior Seau, whether as a Charger, a Patriot, or a member of the
San Diego community. It's so difficult to understand this.

That, IMO, is a great move by the Patriots!! At age 31, he still has quality starter talent. Welcome back, Jabar!!
Competition, indeed, Don! This may be the strongest WR in the league when the season begins; and that's not including the best tandem of TE's in the league. Absolutely awesome passing attack brewing! Lloyd, Welker, Gaffney, Branch, Stallworth, Gonzales - PLUS Gronkowski and Hernandez! WOW!!

NE Patriots Draft, the #1 source for all UDFA signings in throughout the league has the Patriots signing Brandon Bolden RB Mississippi. This signing had been rumored for days, but couldn't be confirmed. Bolden is similar to the Law Firm, but is a better receiover out of the backfield. They both played in SEC for Mississippi. Bolden was one of the last quality UDFA out there and will be given every opportunity to make the team. Remember that BB has kept an UDFA every year he has been here. This year it will be extremely difficult for an UDFA to make the team.

He was a more than adequate blocker for Peyton. HIs injury a year ago really diminished both his effectiveness and, as a result, his playing time, last season. It will be interesting to see if the additional rest of another off season will return him to something close to what he was for the first few years in Indy. Until and unless I see that, I'll just sit at "pleased" with the signing; but not "pumped and jacked". :-)
I have great hopes for Ridley, from what we saw of him last season. But I'm wondering about Vereen. This signing, and the rookie FA earlier, makes me think that BB has the same concerns.
Hopefully Vereen just got off to a bad start by holding out at a short TC
and will show some of the promise this year that BB saw when he drafted
him.
If there is another problem with Vereen I look for BB to bring in a
little more insurance.
