Hey guys, I figured it was time to touch base with all
of you again.

Just to keep you posted on some upcoming events we
could use to meet up and hang out.

August 26,27th at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex
- the US All-Star 7's National Championships.
Basically, the best 7's players are playing on their
territorial team (Midwest, Pacific, Mid-Atlantic
etc...) and they are competing for the national
championship. Rarely do we get a national
championship event like this in the US. Dereck and I
had talked at Lakefront 7's about getting all the old
boys together at this event and then possibly going ot
for some beers after it's done. Anyone else
interested?

Also, the Parkside ruggers are entered in the Highland
Games 15's at the Waueksha COunty Fairgrounds on
Sunday, Septmember 3rd if any of you are interesed in
coming to cheer us on.

The Fall 2006 schedule has come out for the Parkside
Men's Rugby team. It is as follows:

September 16th @ UW-Eau Claire
September 23rd @ UW-Madison
September 30th vs. UW-Platteville
October 7th vs. MSOE
October 14th @ Northern Michigan

If any of you can make the home matches, that would be
fantastic to see you all there. Also, Murphy has
discussed possibly being up in Eau Claire for the
weekend of the 16th for hunting as well as cheering on
the team in Eau Claire. For all of you hunters, this
might be a great weekend roadtrip. In any event, I
would really like to see you guys there if you can
make it.

Lastly, I would like to toss around a date for next
Spring's first annual alumni match. I think April
28th, 2007 would be ideal as it is at the end of our
season and hopefully that would give you all enough
advanced notice. Next year is the 10 Anniversary of
the team so hopefully we can get this in motion. I
know we have a lot more old boys who aren't on the
list thus far as well as some Racine/Kenosha oldboys
who would hop in too if needed.
