Due to an unfortunate change of plans, we have 1 extra ticket for 4 days of the World Track & Field Championships in Berlin.  Any Pamakids out there interested?

 

The meet itself is Aug 15-23.

We have 1 ticket for Aug 19, 21, 22, 23. 

Of note, Aug 21 is the Women’s 1500 Semi-Final and Aug 23 is the Women’s 1500 Final, if you are interested in seeing Shannon Rowbury run at the World Championships.

 

Malinda, Sherie Lo Giudice, and I are going for the World Championships.  This seat that we are selling for these 4 days, in fact, is right next to Sherie (so you don’t have to worry about being stuck sitting next to some foreigner!).

 

We also have an apartment in Berlin for Aug 15-24 so if you come, there is probably room for you to stay with us for a pretty good price.

 

I’ve heard roundtrip airline tickets are in the $600-800 range.  The track tickets are around $125 per day (I need to make a Euro to US dollar calculation).

 

Think about it?   Track meets in Europe are incredible.  The World Championships is on the same level as the Olympics in terms of competition and prestige/glamour for the non-American athletes (for the USA, they can’t seem to understand that there are track meets in non-Olympic years).  We have the tickets in hand.  We have a place you can stay.  And many of you know someone who’s competing.  This is a rare confluence of events…..consider going!
