Time to start playing for real.  Put the ice skates and skate guards away and take out the roller blades.  Its that time of year when we exchange the pallor of fluorescent lighting and the smell of zamboni exhaust for the bright sunshine and the fresh air.  I hope this message finds you all well, as I am not quite sure of how to work the OVERT communication center equipment yet.  Rumors are flying that the Wednesday night game is already in full swing.  I may have to put off my first skate of the season until Wednesday because springtime yard work will not wait.  But my thoughts will be with the rest of you this Saturday at 10:30 AM at the corner of 5th Ave NE and NE 95the Street, near the landmark Cuddy Home (which is near Northgate).  In my mind's eye, every swing of my scythe will be a shot on goal, every sweep of my broom will be a pass to a breaking wingman, every weed I p ull will be yet another time I have to dig the damn ball out of the hedge at the end of the field...I think I will put off my first skate for another month.
