Or do the Solomon thing and cut your shoes in 2. Road toes and trail heels...
The split is about 50/50, but it has been raining for 4 days straight and the
trails are slippery. They might dry before race day (might rain Thursday,
cloudy Friday and sunny Saturday WITH A HIGH OF 18!!!) but they are certainly
wet now. While flagging the trails today, I was slipping in trail shoes at a
walking pace!
I've put more rope up this year.
