If anyone is involved in scheduling the weather, I would like
something a little warmer than -20 during the next few weekends...
Has anyone else noticed that the weekends have been cooler than the
midseek this winter?

I'm not asking for +20, just a more civilized -5, warming to +5 during
the run. This would also help with maple sytup (not overly elegant
segue). Speaking of maple syrup, anyone interested in a visit to the
sugar shack? According to the forecast, this won't happen before mid-
March, but everyone is welcome. There is a 1K walk from the woods to
the shack, which could require running shoes, boots, snow shoes or a
canoe, depending on the weather. Please email me for directions - the
bush is near Singhamton (Collingwood). Your duties would include
quality control (tasting syrup) and keeping the coyotes away...
