Hi Pierre,
The Creemore run sounds interesting. Just one thing though. As I won't be
finished running at Sulphur until around 11pm, I won't be in Creemore until
about 1.00am.
You should also know that I am not a fast runner. I wouldn't want to slow you
down. I will likely be quite tired.
I am trying to get hold of John Turner. We had made tentative plans to run
Sulphur this weekend also (daytime). I should find out what he is up to before I
make a commitment .
I also had leg cramps at Ganaraska. First time ever for me. I am quite sure that
I was dehydrated as my urine was yellow. A runner friend who is also a
pharmacist told me tonight that he takes a Magnesium pill twice a day when his
training schedule or races include extra long runs. He is a 2hr 35min
marathoner, so it would seem that his advice should be sound. By the way, I once
asked him for his advice on how to run 50km and longer races. His response..."my
advice to you Neil is to seek counselling"
regards,
Neil

Hi Neil.
I am also new to ultra running (or so it would seem after my
Garanaska results)...
I am planning to run the new Creemore course Saturday morning circa
08:30 and since Creemore is between Hamilton and Huntsville (if you
squint your eyes) you are welcome to stay the night. I have a tree
house with lights, electricity and heat (yeah, I know, very
strange). Creemore is about 1.5 hours from Hamilton.
Note to all: The Saturday run is open to anyone who would like to
run 25K and critique the new hills I am thinking of adding to the
course. They are little hills, similar to the current 4 hills.
Cheers!
