Its been
almost 2 months past I was compelling myself to send this unique mail to my family members of “ournagaprasad” but finally I am doing it now. Fortunately with your wishes and support i successfully set a new world record for 108 hours marathon typing on PC. I will take your few valuable moments to brief you about my life time sports career objective. Especialy my personal life chronology which is really unique and filmy:
1976 - Born in cumbum , prakasam district ,

1977 - Family migrated to Hubli , karnataka
Mar 1992 - Completed 10th standarad
Mar 1993 - Completed 11th standard
Feb 1993 - Calamity stuck my family since my younger sister eloped from home
Mar 1994 - Due to road accident one day prior to exams I missed my class 12 exams
Mar 1995 - In greed of getting excellent marks in botany subject for easy entry to medical seat , I tried copying from neighboring student , was caught red handed hence I was debarred from exams
Apr 1997 - After 3 years of initial problems of my life completed 12 th standard
1997 - Joined engineering course in Gogte institute of technology belgaum
Apr 1998 - Mother killed in food poisoning by my father's siblings
I paid 500 rupees to see my mother's body in a government mortuary , Hubli
I approached the police for justice but they
closed my mother’s case naming it suicide
I took law into hands and initiated action against all my relatives by destroying their properties , education , jobs .
I started working and studying
Jan 2001 - Set the first national record in making & flying 505 paper rockets in 60 min
May 2002 - Set a new world record for 36 hours marathon typing on PC
Jan 2003 - I saw my father's second wife small children , I quit all the fights and took up shooting sports as life objective
Mar 2003 - Passed 53 BE subjects in 2 attempts (
24+29) and set a new national record
May 2004 - Shifted to hyderabad
June 2004 - Started MBA (marketing) in IIPM Hyderabad
Dec
2004 - Initiated preparations for next world record i.e 100 hours marathon typing
Sept 2005 - Met a terrible accident in Pune , left hand fractured and lower jaw dislocated , undergone surgery , lost sensation in lower jaw permanently , doctors certified no more records as i lost my physical fitness in accident.
Oct 2005 - My girl friend backstabbed me terribly when she got to know that i will not be able to do any more records. She was my co-author in the book ,"The tale of 2 great nations"
Nov 2005 - Hospitalized for acute depression , decided to go ahead with the work
Dec 2005 - My website www.nagaprasad.com launched
Jan 2006 - I started the book project individually without co-author
4 Aug 2006 - 29 lakh rupees was the amount committed by different companies for sponsoring the world record event
5 Aug 2006 - A politician
son demanded 1 lakh rupees for bringing chief minister to release my book and inaugurate the event , i refused as i am against corruption.
9 Aug 2006 - Max sponsors withdraw , the sponsorship amount exponentially diminished to 70,000 rupees only. I was pathetically depressed and broken financially. But as time was running out i decided to go ahead with the world record attempt irrespective of sponsors presence.
9 Aug 2006 - All
these years i always told others that my family is no more due to a road accident , but now i told the truth about my family disaster to society through print & media as it was really tough to hide anymore. If I don’t do then some anti people would have done it.
10 Aug 2006 - My first book , "The tale of 2 great nations" released by Inspector general of police Mr Sambasiva Rao.
15 Aug 2006 - Set a new world record for
marathon typing on a PC for 108 hours
30 Aug 2006 - Due to the articles in press and news coverage , 5 movie producers and 1 TV serial producer have approached me to purchase my personal life story. I refused and asked them to support me in my sports career only then i will give them my story with NOC.
30 Oct 2006 - 7 Job offers from insurance and retailing with good packages.
30 Nov 2006 - MBA will be completed.
You might wonder why i am mentioning all these details to you. As its specific and precise my life objective is an icon in shooting sports. 59 years of Indian history and 100 crore population has not yet given any fruitful results in world cups or olympics. I have the potential to overcome any
obstacle or pressure and attain goals. For a sportsman 2 parameters are important family and organization support. Unfortunately i do not have my family but fortunately if a team is there to mentor me then i will definitely deliver results in sports as well as my job with no compromise. For a moment do not view the above chronology with sympathy rather view it in calculating the potential in me. I am 29 years old , shooting sports can be played till 45 years old. The top most international shooters are 30+ years old. I have done my analysis for this objective. So many people have suggested me to go abroad for earnings and settle there or join a MNC. But if i follow there suggestions then my sports objective will remain a dream forever.
After these news articles (http://www.nagaprasad.com/images/andhrajyothi.gif) published my details ‘n’ number of my friends questioned me about my family , it was a tough task to explain and convince them. Now just give a thought why and how can I discuss these issues with every individual. Now my friends started doubting my authenticity , in fact I lost few of my friends after the news broke out. Now I am sharing all this with you as I believe its my duty to be transparent & loyal. A kind request please DO NOT pour sympathy to me as this makes me feel you are giving me crutches.
My expectations from you are moral support , thoda sa pyar , mentoring. As you are aware that sports career objective is not a joke and as a individual it will take more and more time to attain the goals. Till date whatever I have done constructively , my friends are behind it. I owe them a lot and love them. In a Hollywood movie titled ,”cable guy” wherein the whole world watches what –how-where Jim carrey is performing , I feel here on this platform “ournagaprasad” you all are / will be watching me and in fact mentoring me.
Definitely after my mothers death when I took law into hands , I had seen worse obstacles. That fight was for justice and it was not for any kind of monetary gains. They deserved my actions and I will never repent for that. I do not have any police cases in any part of police stations. No human is born criminal , definitely circumstances compel him / her to pick weapon for offence or defence. I have definitely picked up weapon for my shooting sports to bring laurels to our motherland INDIA
We human’s set limitations around our self , there is no body obstructing us. For example life is like a gear vehicle. The amount of acceleration we give to the vehicle does not move the vehicle because we are holding the clutch which obstructs the moment of vehicle. Hence we are liable to ourselves. Sheer hard work is directly proportional to the progress in life. Every human has problems but we should never give up. Start fighting against the odds in life after certain time we will attain a point wherein nothing can hamper us. In today’s competitive world we can stabilize only when we prove our potentials. It’s a very common saying that life
is like a rose but there are thorns. Our like is like the principle of refractive index ,”what we see is not the truth” for example when we immerse a stick into a transparent container filled with water, the actual length of stick is minimized in the water.
Most of us are working or studying , we work with targets in the organizations or institutions. I want pose a questions. Have any of us set targets in our personal lives ? Am sure very few might have done it. Just every organization works setting targets quarterly with appropriate analysis. I believe if we also try , the results in our lives will be awesome. We see that our lives are routine i.e sleep –
newspapers – office – coffee shops – shopping – TV – food – sleep . We need to set goals and activate ourselves to accomplish them. Before boarding a bus we need to know our destiny , similarly we have to set our destiny’s.
Advanced countries concentrate on disaster management , I feel even we need to implement this in our personal lives. Mean to say that be prepared for unfortunate events with suitable solutions. We come across ‘n ‘ number of socio-economic problems. Lets not neglect them, because a small problem will multiply and catastrophe will engulf us within no time.
For example CORRUPTION , it’s a cancer of our nation . Will we be a mute spectator if cancer is stuck to our mother ? No way , this cancer (corruption) is destroying our motherland uniformly. A person taking corruption is equivalent to the person giving corruption. Please give a thought about it. Every drop of water forms a ocean , every small contribution of our efforts against corruption will definitely minimize to some extent. As we know prevention is better then cure.
I accept everybody in the society is not a
Gandhiwadi. If you think the other person deserves punishment then do it , but be calculative. In my book ,” The tale of 2 great nations” I have written a beautiful line ,”An eye for an eye will lead the whole world visionless”.
If you feel low in life with some problems without a second thought just shoot a mail or call me I will always stand next to you. Never let problems chase us instead we should chase problems.
Let me stop here about this motivational issue here else it will go on and on.
