Well I just got engaged! Can't believe it, just last year I was beginning to
think I'd never meet someone. I'm already 25 and I thought it was all over.
After some recommendations from a friend I joined up here:
http://www.findyourpartner.info/fjgj and after 2 weeks I was already meeting up
with a beauty. Well, 12 months later and where still together and planning our
marriage for later this year =)
Yeah I know, I never thought this stuff would work either, but honestly I stand
corrected. This place http://www.listpersonals.info/dvvg is actually very
awesome. I hooked mycam up and within no time I was talking to a few great
ladies over it. Anyway, I recommend it to everyone here!
Met my fiance here, hehe. Thought I should share it with any other guys who are
worried up winding up alone like I was. Check it out

Hey people! I am pretty new to the group and I don't mean to be annoying, but
I wanted to let all of you know I finally got my webcam back. It took a while
to repair, but everything is running great now, and the picture is crystal
clear. The repair guy also told me that he added some new software to allow
me to talk live to those watching me! So if any of you guys want to chat
come try it out on my new homepage :)

Fred
looking alot like the closer we knew last year. I
thinkif he continue to get that slider acorss the way he
has, he is going to be an excellent closer. I am sure
his performance may signal Julio's return to the
minor when Ponson returns.
Hargrove wants to find out what Kinkade has. He
is hitting .385. Together, Gibbons and Kinkade are
providing excitement and much needed hits. Good move. I
think this is Rip's swan song season anyway.
Jorge Julio was pruchased from AA and John Bale
sent to AAA. I believe at this time, Grover has every
intention of keeping Kohl closer, but this move is
interesting int he fact that is Kohl continues to falter, I
could see Jorge becoming closer and given the
opportuniyt. Why move Roberts out of the rotation?

Mark
stay and enjoy the season. No matter how bad it gets, we are losing with
youngsters who are learning, instead of geezers who are past their prime and
paid too much!
It is kind of interestin g to see how the offense
is shaping. Here many of us called fro Greg Myers to
be released, I was one as well, yet he is giving us
the offensive punch.

Good solid performance
by JJ again. What a difference from last season.
Jason Johnson get's first O's Starter
"W".
Greg Meyers hit's 2nd homer in as many days. 3
RBI's..Finally, some offense..
Looks like Meyers will be
DH-ing more, Bordyce won't be sitting that's for
sure..Too Valuable behind the plate.
Play the Kid's
Damnit!!
Note to Ponson...Grow up Punk!!
Shane I said it many times on other message
baords, Bale should have made the club from the start. My
philosophy was proven right. Another one I called right here
in this club...Roberts deserves the starting job,
not McElory!

GO O'S!!!!

Mark
John Bale made himself known immediatly to the
crowd at Camden Yards. After being called up yesterday
Bale pitched 2 1/3 innings to get his first win. The
O's scored 6 on 9 hits for a 6-5 win. Ryan Kohlmeier
gave up a HR, but still hung on for his 2nd save of
the year. A great win for the O's, in the way that
they were expected, hard and tight wins with 100%
effort.

CAN THE ORIOLES WIN THIS YEAR, WHY NOT?!
Well, it was a good game. The bats still are
flying. They fly very erratically. Roberts was awesome.

My opinion since the beginning of the season I was
in favor of Roberts starting. The stats added up.
Robert had a way better spring than McElory. For the
life of me, I can not understand Hargrove's decision.
He basically said he wanted Roberts and McElory to
compete, but yet Roberts had an awesome spring and McElory
did not. Now, Roberts is showing his stuff again. I
don't get it.

I was happy to see Gibbons in as
well.

Mark
Willis Roberts came in relief of Jason Johnson
and was marvelous. He struck out 7 in more than 4
innings of work. The offense finally had some light with
10 hits and 5 runs. Ryan Kohlmeier struggled to get
all three outs and had to give way to Buddy Groom for
the last out. The O's started the first with 4 runs,
but this time the bull pen held strong. The offense
had 3 doubles in the first inning, big runs off of
em. For the beginning of the year Willis Roberts has
been a big treat, in middle relief he has been
flawless. The O's have few guys with the exception of Buddy
Groom who can go 3 to 4 innings, the O's have been
looking for someone with that capability since Arthur
Rohdes left. If he continues to do well then he might
get a starting role, but for now I'm happy with him
where he is. All I know is I like him better than
Calvin Maduro even before the year started.

CAN
THE ORIOLES WIN THIS YEAR, WHY NOT?!
well, the last thing we can afford if for our good pitching to stop, while the
bats remain dry. 6 hits again. At some point these bats have to start breaking
out.

Play Kinkade and Gibbons!
to all new members. We love the O's and that is
why we are here, through good times and bad. Lets
make this ther best damn club for the O's on
Yahoo!

Shanedawg is now a co-founder. Any suggesstions or comments
on the club may be directed to me and
Shanedawg.

Thanks again for joining!!!!

We promise to keep
the site as updated as possible on O's news
First off let me say it is a pleasure to be here.
I am a lifelong fan of the O's, I am 15 and have
been looking for this season to start for some time.
When the O's signed Pat Hentgen I knew something
special was there, a proven pitcher who while he isn't
what he used to be, was worthy of getting a shot at
taking Mussina's role. People say this team is 5th place
material, I never at anytime believed that. This team has
more pitching than the D Rays, and I've said that we
have a great shot at 3rd if everything falls into
place. Watch out for Ryan Kohlmeier, I enjoyed watching
him and Chris Richard blow it up last year, and they
will the two big guys on this years team. I look
forward to spreading my info. on the team for this year
and will get more people in this club when I have the
chance.

CAN THE ORIOLES WIN THIS YEAR, WHY NOT?!
Best thing about the youth mevement iis we still
have better one to come with Richard Stahl, Beau Hale,
John Bale, Tripper Johnson, Ed Rogers, Brian Roberts,
Keith Reed and Tim Raines Jr.

Keep the movement
alive!
You're right about Willis Roberts. I would like
to see even more of an influx of youth on this
ballclub. Mills is o.k., but is getting a little
long-in-th-tooth. Maybe I'm alone in this thought, but we have seen
mediocre performances with a team loaded with veterans.
The direction the O's are moving with Johnson,
Hairston, Gibbons, Richard, Mora, Roberts, etc., is
producing a team that is looking forward, not backward. I
really believe that will pay off.
I wouldn't even
mind seeing a few of the older players (McElroy and
Conine) traded for younger players who are either in the
majors, or very close.
My surprise more than the starting pitching has
been the consistency in the bullpen. I clearly thought
the bullpen would be the weakness this year.
Kohlmeier still make sme nervous. I guess I wish he could
have a few 123 9ths.

I have been impressed
with the performance of Willis Roberts out of the pen.
I certainly hope the plan is not to reasign him on
Mills return.

Mark
I agree. The starting rotation is really
surprising me.

ERA 4.58 (2000) 2.25 (2001)
Opp.
BA .263 (2000) .174 (2001)
BB 25 (2000) 19
(2001)
K 35 (2000) 51 (2001)
Hits 56 (2000) 36
(2001)

Hopefully that formatted correctly. Anyway, that's the
Orioles' stats from the 2000 season after 6 games and the
2001 season after 6 games. I see major improvement
there! I wouldn't think we would do THAT well
considering Mussina is out of the picture.

-Tim
I'm really excited about the direction the O's
seen to be taking. Their starting rotation has
performed very well, and the bullpen seems to be
better
than I expected.

With all the youth that is
being added, I think the future looks
promising.

If you had told me that the O's would start 3-3
against Cleveland and Boston, I would not have believed
you. Let's hope this continues - I feel at least .500
is attainable.
