Subject: Jr. Boys Volleyball Program

 

We are trying to re-start our Jr. Boys program.  We are looking for boys in grades 6-12, interested in playing volleyball, and people interested in either coaching or being clinicians at our first event-Sat., May 15th.  It will be held at Milwaukie HS.

 

We will be using a volleyball camp format.  So we’re in need of clinicians to teach skills and run drills, and anyone interested in doing some coaching for the day.

 

Here’s what we are looking at for the day:

-         9:30am – 10:30am Check-in and Registration

-         10:30am – 1:30pm Skill Drills

-         1:30pm – 2:30pm Lunch Break (Pizza and drinks provided for Coaching staff)

-         2:30pm – 6:00ish Jamboree type team competition

 

Clinicians will be responsible for setting up and running drills (setting, hitting/blocking, positioning/defense, serving).

 

Coaches will primarily be evaluating players during drills.  And during lunch we’ll be putting together teams based on the evaluations, and age groups if necessary.
