I have an online lingerie store and I am considering offering custom lingerie and bridal lingerie gift baskets. They would consist of a lingerie item such as a babydoll, teddy or other lingerie, lotion, body wash, bath salts, powder, a candle, rose petals, music and other items. Guys...would this be something that you would buy your wife or girlfriend? Girls...is this something you might buy for a friend that is getting married or as a gift for yourself? I wanted to get some feedback before investing in this venture.... Any suggestions would be welcomed .....Thanks! Unless you are offering these gift baskets as bridal gifts or as gifts for guests at weddings, I don't think your question belongs in this category. Personally, I think your gift baskets sound just divine. I love sexy lingerie and sundries, for myself included.Only with a broad enough selection to make it worth it. I know personally scented items tend to be really strong and I'm very picky on it. So as to candles, salts, wash, and lotion--I'd want to have a good variety of smells--some not so strong. Overall though I think it sounds like a great idea but very difficult to actually do. I mean lingerie is so personal. Who actually knows their friends bra size? Or how conservative or scandalous their lingerie drawer is? I do like the idea if you could pay and then the bride could pick out her selections and have it sent. Especially if there was a way she didn't have to know what it cost. Except I know with me, if I'm bringing it to a bridal shower, I want to have a gift in hand not a gift card so I'd more than likely get her a couple things.
