I think you did the right thing. having to request membership is much less of an hassle then to receive spam about wanting to meet singles and whatever (although i have to say that you've done great job at keeping spammers at bay since the number of those emails is minimal)
about swimming this coming weekend I really want to go so if we decide on a time and place i'm less likely to bail. I have to work both days so it would be good to do it earlier in the day (I still want to sleep in a bit...) how about 10am sunday?
