Great to hear from you Chuck! I am home from my big trip and have finally gotten myself back up to speed with 'life' - I am ready to start my cold water training cram session (if thats possible!). I figure any cold water training before the Trans Tahoe Relay is better that none...?! I am assuming that Lake Natomas is still pretty cold so I was going to plan to do some of my training there - would anyone be up for swimming with me there over the next 3 weeks? I have plans to be down in Loomis (my poor doggie just started chemotherapy at Loomis Basin Vet Clinic...) every Tuesday from ~4:30pm-5:30/ 6pm and was thinking I could go for a quick swim on my way back to Davis...I would love some company if anyone would like to meet up with me! I should also have some time on the weekends as well...Does anyone else have any other suggestions for places to cold water swim that aren't too far from Davis? I look forward to swimming with you!
