To answer richards question: I looked in our archived messages and it
looks like - last year the lake was 61/62 through most of april and
then right around the end of april beginning of may the temp went way
up to nearly 70 degrees near the dam. There was however a week of
rain right around then that that sent temp (measured at the spanish
flat side of the lake) down to 59 degrees. So the april/may period
could be a bit variable depending on where in the lake, what time of
day, and the very recent weather. But if all goes as it has been we
should be expecting high 60 temps by early may if not sooner.
