Subject: [openwaterswimmers] New member, Tiburon?

Hi all,

I'm a brand new member of this group. I've been swimming with DAM
just since this past winter. I know you're all focused on the
upcoming Whiskeytown swim, but I'm wondering if anyone else is doing
the Tiburon swim? I've done open water ocean swims on the east
coast, so the Tiburon swim shouldn't be completely new to me, but I
am a little worried about the temperature of the water and other
unknown factors. If anyone has done this swim before and has any
tips to share, I'd love to hear them.

Roberta
