Re: [openwaterswimmers]

Hi Melanie,

Aquatic park swimming is great!  Some of us wear wetsuits, but it is by no means necessary.  The water was in the mid-50s, and we swam for about 40 minutes, as part of a swim workout organized by Pedro Ordenes.  Check out http://events.waterworldswim.com - look under weekly swims. We showered at the South End Rowing Club afterwards.  Last time we left Davis at 8 and were back by about 2:30.

Hi everybody,

Andrea - you know it was a boot of respect since there's no way we could keep up with
you in Lane 4. :)

Can you all give me some general info about going to Aquatic Park? About how many
hours is the whole trip? Do you need a wetsuit? How much time do you spend swimming?

Anything else that you think a newbie should know would be much appreciated!

Melanie
