Glad you signed up for the listserv! We've had a lot of fun swimming in NorCal since, was it last fall?
Our
experience varies quite a bit, from one or two English Channel swimmers
to a few who have done Maui-Lanai crossings, 6 miles across Lake
Applegate, Lake Del Valle swims (somehow two of our cohorts swam 6
miles there!), a group who have done Alcatraz swims (without
wetsuits!), several Tahoe swim veterans (relays, etc.), and the rest of
us who have participated in official and unofficial Lake Berryessa
swims, a few swims at the San Francisco (as opposed to Berkeley)
Aquatic Park workouts, and unofficial lake and river swims all over.
No one has posted a special swim this weekend, but stay tuned...
