Hi open water swimmers,

I just joined this message board and am very excited to learn about open water
opportunities. I'm a DAM member (I swim usually at 7 a.m. in lane 4) so I know
I know some
of you. Andrea - are you the one who I kicked up to lane 5 because you were
killing us lane
4 regulars trying to keep up with you? :)

I've only done 3 open waters - one in Los Gatos years ago (I think it was a
little over a mile)
and Berryessa twice (the 1 mile the first time and the 2 mile the second - which
was the
farthest I've ever swam in my life, the last half mile was brutal!)
