Hi all,
Yes, I have been talking with Melissa at Making Waves. I would prefer to buy locally. Before Christmas, they had 2 or 3 Quintana Roo wetsuits that they were willing to discount quite a bit. They mentioned that the company hasn't been easy to work with. They prefer Zoot suits, but the ones they had in the shop were a little thick under the arms. They said they're ready to work with us, and wanted to know what we'd like. That's where I stopped--not quite sure how to proceed.
Maybe what Ahelee suggests is a good idea -- get together with them for quick meeting and tell them what we need (thin under the arms!!).

I got my wetsuit online. It's a Quintana Roo. I bought it through
one of those vendors that sells a whole variety of athletic items (I
think it was trisports.com) It was $220 dollars. It's a long sleeves
"swimming" wetsuit and is nice and thin at the arms. It is hard to
find a long sleeve wetsuit for under 200 dollars but for a short
sleeve you can find several in the 100 dollar range. Another option
is Making Waves - the swim store in town. Lyra has been trying to get
a wetsuit from them - any luck lyra? I felt comfortable buying online
but if you want to try it on - the swim shop might be a good choice -
let me know how your shop/hunt goes.
