Cristiano Ronaldo claims he will make an announcement on his future
plans in the next two to three days.
The Man United winger has been heavily linked with a move to Real
Madrid, although United are determined to hold onto him.
Ronaldo, who training with the Portugal squad ahead of Euro 2008, said:
"I hope there will be news soon. In two to three days, I will announce
my decision."
If he decides his future lies away from Old Trafford, he would face a
fight to secure a transfer to Real, who have made no secret of their
interest.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson claimed the Glazier family, the club's
owners, would rather keep the player even if a situation arose where he
refused to play for them.
