Manchester United flew home from Moscow but brought with them the
baggage of another summer of uncertainty surrounding Ronaldo.
Just 13 months after signing a new contract, United's top scorer is
again being linked with a move to Real Madrid. But United insist
Ronaldo
is staying.
Asked if he would stay at United, Ronaldo said: "I don't promise
anything to anyone, even my mum! I want to stay, of course, but no one
knows
what will happen in the future.
"No one has said anything to me, we will see in the next two weeks. I
love the people. The players are fantastic. The atmosphere is great.
All
the staff are great and I feel very happy in the club."
But Real president Ramon Calderon is waiting in the wings and warned
United, if Ronaldo wants to go, they'll have to sell.
