Monday's run, September 19th, will be at the Hare's Hole - Hanging
Dick. Would anyone else like to know why he has such a name?
Goodness. Okay, anyway, here are the directions: First of all,
leave work an hour early (or own a Hummer) and proceed to Langata Rd.
(or take the back way on Ngong...) You'll go to the Bomas of Kenya
(anyone who is new to Kenya and has less than three runs and knows
what the hey the Bomas are and can tell all of us while we're in the
sacred Hash Circle what the hey the Bomas are gets a free drink from
the ONH3...) and turn left on Magadi Road. Go 5 kms. You'll pass the
Banda School on the right naer the beginning so you'll know where you
are....(as well as the freakin' Bomas - what infamous document was
written there, by the way??). Now these are HD's directions: After
those 5 kms., "take the first murram road past the banda on the
right. go through the barrier (make sure it's up...or not - my
comment) and past a T-junction (seems to me that "past a T-junction"
means you're in someone's front yard or living room, so don't be
fooled...my comments, again). once past the t-junction (?? - my
comment)take the first left into plot 71 (sounds like a dead-end to
me, literally a burial plot --- not even Halloween yet...sorry,
sorry, All Saints to those across the ocean...which reminds me, The
British have declared American independence null and void given the
current US leadership----sorry, diverted. Look for Hash chalk....
SO, see all of you at Hanging Dick's run, Run No. 297.
