Thank you so much to you all for your kind words & thoughts which we forwarded to his two children, two sisters & his younger brother. The whole family have found them such a comfort & have much appreciated the support from so many of Stephen's friends all around the world. It was a great shock to us all to so suddenly lose such a vital spark from our family.
We plan to hold a Memorial Service at the Commonwealth Hotel in Kampala, Uganda around midday (we hope) on 1st November to which any of his friends who wish are invited to join us to celebrate Stephen's remarkable life. We would be delighted to meet you. We hope that, even with our sadness at his passing, this will be a celebratory occasion in keeping with Stephen's irrepressibly optimistic spirit. So - no black clothing please.
We understand his many friends in Nairobi - in the Hash House Harriers, the Masons, SKAL & others also plan to hold a similar event around the same time - a Kwaheri - as do his numerous friends in Cameroon.
