This is the update regarding our end of year trip this coming Saturday 15th December 2007 to GATAMAYU FOREST.
We all meet at ABC Place of Waiyaki way, Westlands at 9 AM. You dont need to have a 4WD though its a better option. If you need a ride please let me know.
The trip is about 127 kms and will take us about 1.30 hours to get there. I will carry some maps for the drivers but Waterloo is also going to mark the road from Naivasha road Junction.
We will have a run/hike/walk at the Gatamayu forest and across the Gatamayu stream with its beautiful water fall (about 8 m high). The place is renowned for trout fishing and also its gigantic fern tress (5 to 8 m high) that you can see along the stream. The forest is also interesting for its bird life.
Some snacks will be served on arrival and lunch later. We will also have down downs as usual hash tradition. We also try and leave sober and before 5 pm.
Carry some water, rain jacket or something warm and proper shoes. You may wear shorts but if you are afraid of your sexy legs getting scratched then pants are for you.
All u wankers will meet at Gypsies or any preferred pub to chill out back in Nairobi.
