After a good year of hashing and perhaps not too many out of town runs, ONH3 mismanagement is organizing a day trip to GATAMAYU FOREST on the 15^th December 2007.

 

Gatamayu Forest is 127 km from Nairobi. You leave Nairobi by the main Naivasha road.

We will have a run/hike/walk at the Gatamayu forest and across the Gatamayu stream with its beautiful water fall (about 8 m high)

 

The place is renowned for trout fishing and also its gigantic fern tress (5 to 8 m high) that you can see along the stream. The forest is also interesting for its bird life.

 

This will be a day trip with us leaving Nairobi about 10AM and arrive in time for an early lunch. We then do the run, have the usual down downs and leave again at about 5.30PM. Afterwards all u wankers will meet at Gypsies or any preferred pub to chill out.
