The Okinawan Karate-Do Union is an organization open to any martial art of Okinawan or Japanese origin. Within the “OKU” we have several different martial arts that are represented. Some of them include: Isshin-Ryu, Shorin-Ryu, Shotokan, Shito-Ryu, Ju-Jutsu, Kempo, Kobudo and many others. The organization’s philosophy is a reflection of its founding president, the late Master Allen Wheeler. He didn’t want it limited to only Isshin-Ryu stylist. This, he felt, would widen our member's scope of learning and understanding of martial arts as a whole.

This group is for OKU members, but we welcome anyone with an interest in the martial arts.
