1. "Ishikawa Cycles" is located on rte 74, just off the Kadena Rotary in Kadena
Cho. Ishikawa-san is a very good bike mechanic and sells Treks and other bikes.
2. "Route 329 cycles" is owned by Ikehara-san. Located on rte 329 in
Ishikawa-shi, he is a very good mechanic and has a variety of bikes for sale.
3. "Komesu cycles" is owned by Komesu-san on rte 330, next to the "shrine" in
Futenma-cho, between MCAS Futenma and Foster. Komesu-san sponsors a triathlete
team and races, himself.
4. "Bridgestone Bike Shop("Okinawa Ring-yo") is the largest on Okinawa, located
in downtown Naha on rte 58. Gima-san is a mechanic there, don't know if he owns
the shop. Lots of parts and bikes.
5. "Kamida" is a tri-pro shop located on rte 330 south of Gate 2, KAB, but
before the Plaza Shopping Center. Kamida-san has a mechanic and build bikes. A
variety of tri-gear as well.
6. Awase Wharf Area - down to backside of Comprehensive Park, North along the
coast on Hwy 85. As you approach the Awase wharf area on the right, watch for a
large yellow building with big fish on it. Turn left onto the road in front of
that building. The bike shop is on that road a few blocks further down. Lots of
road bike and mtb parts, low and high-end.
7. NEOS - just North of Kinser at intersection of 58 and Convention Center road,
SouthEast corner. Similar to REI in the states.
8. Sport Depot - South of Kinser about 5km on hwy. 58, in old Makiminato Housing
Area; at stoplight at top of hill, West side of road is Hotel Ekka, turn left
(East) and Sport Depot is the first store in the shopping mall. Big place,
similar to a SportMart.
