Brown, Lawn win Ironman New Zealand in race-record time
Kiwi Cameron Brown won his third consecutive Ironman New Zealand today in Taupo,
a city of 20,000 260 kilometers southeast of Auckland on New Zealand's North
Island. "It's a fantastic feeling to get three in a row," exclaimed Brown after
his 8:22:05 race-record performance.

Cycling and soccer reluctantly sign on to doping policy
Under pressure from International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge,
both the Union Cycliste International and soccer's Federation Internationale de
Football Association have tentatively agreed to adopt a new international doping
code that includes a minimum two-year suspension for first offenses.
