Happy New Year everyone!

Went riding this morning. No idea how many people showed, but the OBS new
years ride is usually well attended, and was so today too.

We had two groups, a slower and a faster group, but we could see the
faster group for a LONG time way up ahead. Actually, we had three groups. One
was the party group. :) The folks that didn't ride.

I got lucky, and got to ride with my cross country pal Mel. Way to go,
first miles in 2004 with a best pal! ;)

No idea how far it actually was, no idea how fast we were going, average
wise, but I do know, we had a GREAT ride. Part of the time we were in
front, part of the time in back, and part of the time in the middle.

It was windy, the pavement was wet, but it was warm. Very nice for
January. I got to ride in shorts and a long sleeve jersey. No vest or
jacket needed.

I don't think it can get any better then this. Thanks Dave and Michele for once
again putting us up while we are here in OKC, and for hosting this GREAT event.
