I am just getting started building the buggy that I have wanted to
build for several years!
It will be 4 wheel independt suspention with about a 6ft by 4ft
wheelbace, it will be powered by a slightly modifyed honda 13hp minicup
engine running through a 40 series T.C. drive and a homebuilt F-N-R
transaxel. I plan to build the trans. case out of steel plate and use
timeing gears from 5hp brigs engines to achive the reverse and 8to1
gear reduction for the finel drive snd reverse will have another 2to1
set in it making it 1/2 the speed of forward!
I have started welding up the bottom platform of the frame, it is being
made from 1X3X.090in rec. box tubing the rest of the frame & cage will
be made from 1 & 1.250 round tubeing.cThe rear "A" arms will be made
out of the 1in tubeing and the cage will be 1.250 tubeing, allthough I
am now thinking about useing tralling arms in the back insted of "A"
armes, Any toughts on this from anyone??
Well thats enough for now.
Any coments on My build from other members are verry welcome!
