Wow thats a huge engine... I guess the machine will be over 65" wide?
Since I've been slack at posting, the school project is now coming
along well... at least the one related to offroadgokarts (mini-baja).
we've developed another transmission for it this year.
last year's transmission was overbuilt... probably 3x as much steel as
we needed in gears. This years transmission will be about 50%
lighter. The car is already 70-80lbs lighter..... at least in the
computer. Thats a big savings when you have to use a 10hp briggs.
I put a picture up on the main page of last year's car during the test
stage.
