Re: [Official Jets Club] Maybe it's time to start looking at draft

I agree, just to think if they could have stayed in that game with Carolina just
a little bit longer, and won it, they might still have a chance to keep the
season alive, i think now at 2-7, at best, we may be looking at a 6-10 season,
at best. Its a shame to watch that defense play their asses off, and for
nothing, cause the offense continues to be inept. Now there's rumors of Herman
possibly taking over for Vermeil in KC next year. If thats the case, I say make
Donnie Henderson head coach, I think he definitely has all the players respect.
I think they should offer a fat contract to Shaun Alexander, and also should go
after Steve Mcnair. Now, if they can som how, some way, knock off Denver this
sunday, which will be an awfully hard task, and beat NO the following week, who
knows, i know its far fetched, but i'm just trying to keep hope alive, as little
as there is. We all have to remember, they had an incredibly hard schedule
coming into the season, and having 10 starters
injured through the first 9 games certainly doesnt help.

that things will get
better for the Jets to make a run at the division. For that to happen
they would have to run the table. This is highly unlikely given that
we play Denver next, and the Patriots twice in the six games that
follow. While our defense has kept us in games, our offense has kept
us from winning them. I know Bollinger had a great game two weeks ago
but the second half of Sunday's game was nighmarish to say the least.
We might get a win against the Saints but that may be our only shot at
a vitory for the remainder of the season.

While I hope I am wrong, I would love for Gang Green to win out, but I
just do not think that is realistic. So with this in mind who do you
think the Jets should pick in the draft.
