FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NATION’S FIRST CUSTOM LAWN MOWER RACING ENGINE BUILD SHOP LANDS NATIONAL SPONSORSHIP
Bismarck, ND (Oct. 11, 2007) – G-Team Racing Founder and CEO Don Gienger of Bismarck, North Dakota has announced a sponsorship deal with STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer for the 2008 U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) season.
G-Team Racing is the nation’s first custom lawn mower racing engine and components builder offering a full line of custom lawn mower racing components, including the custom-built G-Force Lawn Mower Racing Engines, G-Force Racing Cams and the new Missouri Valley Mower Chassis. G-Team also specializes in providing a line of high performance Briggs & Stratton parts, ARC Racing Parts and items and services such as carburetors and carb work, cams and machine work, crank and exhaust kits, ignition components all for the rapidly-growing sport of lawn mower racing.
Gienger was crowned First-Ever U.S. Champion in the CP Class last month at the 15th Anniversary STA-BIL Keeps Gas Fresh Finals (Sept. 1) and
will be featured on the Outdoor Channel as part of O’Reilly Auto Parts Motor Mania Oct. 16, 8:00 am ; Oct. 19, 7:30 pm ; and Oct. 21, 1:00 am (all times Eastern).

Gienger is a nine-year USLMRA racing veteran, Founder of the North Dakota Lawn Mower Racing Association, lawn mower race promoter and has competed in the 2000 Rider Cup Weekend with the British Lawn Mower Racing Association (July 4, 2000). G-Team Racing mowers have placed in the Top 5 at all USLMRA race the past seven years in the SP, BP and FX classes.
The U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association features riding lawn mowers racing in six classes at speeds up to 60 mph with all cutting blades are removed for safety. The STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series began in 1992 as a single event and has grown into an 18 race national circuit. The USLMRA fields a network of 20 local chapters and sanctions more than 100 races annually. There is no purse money as racers compete for trophies, glory and bragging rights. The STA-BIL series is sanctioned by the USLMRA, which has more than 500 members across the U.S.
