For billeting:
MCCS -
http://www.mccsokinawa.com/lodging/ Hansen is the closest to
Schwab, but far away from everything else. The West-Pac Inn is on
Foster, about a 45 to 60 minute trip to Schwab, but near enough to
everything else that walking to shop/do a mini-tour is easy. In the past
we have been able to coordinate free transport for groups, and I have no
reason to believe we would not be able to do this again. When you have a
rough idea on your needs, let me know and I will confirm it with Motor-T
and get you in touch with them so you can work out the details.
Navy MWR -
http://www.cfao.navy.mil/navymwr/reservat2.htm I don't
think we can't help you with transport if you stay there (but if you end
up there I will certainly check on what we can do). White Beach is more
or less the same distance from Schwab and is a nice little vacation
spot. Navy MWR may be able to help you with transport needs.
Air Force 18 Services -
http://www.18services.com/shogun.html and
http://www.18services.com/okuma.html Okuma is a great vacation spot,
probably 30 to 45 minutes from Schwab, but no transport help from us
there or from the Air Force on-base lodge, either. Again, if you end up
there I will certainly re-check on what we can do. The Air Force lodge
is probably 30-45 minutes from Schwab, and is located within walking
distance of Gate 2 street shopping (and lots of bars after dark) area.
