The OBX HHH is North Carolina's eastern-most "Drinking Club with a Running Problem", and also the largest Hash between Rodanthe and Kitty Hawk. Our goal is to promote friendly socializing and enjoy the comraderie of new and interesting people from all over.

We gather at a different designated location weekly or bi-weekly, depending on how energetic we feel. One person (sometimes two) called the hare sets off to lay a trail of flour and chalk. The rest of the group, the hounds, sets off 12 minutes later in pursuit of the hare on trail. The trail is usually less than 3 miles, and covers all different types of terrain. Once everyone has arrived at the end of the trail, we gather for refreshments and the On-On celebration.

This is not a competitive group, however regular exercise tends be a healthy activity. If you get in shape, it's your own damn fault. We take no responsibility.
