Greetings all. After confidently telling you all that their wasn't
much on the agenda until May, races pop up that were under my radar.
Greg, took part in the epic annual classic Paris-Ancaster...
"I finished 5th/74 in the 60km 50-59 age group and 151st/944 overall
with a time of 2:13 for an average speed of 27kph. An ok improvement
over last year's 9th, 160th overall, and 2:32. The time difference was
mainly due to vast differences in conditions. This year the
temperature was around 20 and the course mostly dry and fast. Next
year I'm not going to have a party the night before (didn't go to bed
until 1:30am) and I'm going to use narrow street slicks instead of my
mountain bike semi slicks, and get on that damn podium!
The winner's time was 1:46."
