Hi Everyone, I got an Email today from OLN saying that Cycling will start
on Sunday March 6 at 19:30.
Points of interest are:
- On checking the OLN Canada website, it shows Paris-Nice (which starts with
a prologue TT on March 6 and the race ends Sun Mar 13) starting at 5 pm til
6:30 pm. I guess the actual TV start time will be updated this week.
- This looks to be the same programming thats being shown in the US under
the title of "Cyclysm Sundays"
-Here's the OLN US Press Release and schedule

-Also there's a UK based Co showing live cycling over the Internet. While I
had a problem receiving it at home my son was able to receive it at his
office with no problem. Here's the link to the article in PEZ.

- And there's more .......ARIA sport in the US is also going to show live
and delayed feed on selected Euro races. Here's the link to their site.

- And lastly you can watch RIA Internationale sports programming over the
Internet. I watched the Tour of Lombardy replay last Oct - and it was full
screen to boot!. There's a schedule as well so that you can check what time
the race is on. The Italian word for cycling is "Ciclismo" (as if you
didn't already know.....). Here's the links.
The Media Player link is www.fastweb.it/streaming/raisport.asx
and the schedule is on

Check under "Satellite" to get the TV transmission times. Note the times are
Central European time which is 6 hrs ahead of us. Hence 17:30 on the
schedule means is being shown at 11:30 am our time. They tend to repeat the
progams - so for example, Milano-San Remo on Sat March 19 will show 3 or 4
times on the Sat evening in Italy. Hopefully we will get it here on OLN on
Sunday Mar 20.
So maybe our collective cycling-on-TV fortunes are on the up and up!
regards Cliff Jeffrey
