Hi,

The wine gods were looking after Adam, Margaret, Anneli and me as it didn't rain
during our Sunday afternoon 50km winery crawl tour except right at the end when
Anneli made us go an extra couple of kms past the car so Margaret could finish
her first 50km ride ... and make Adam ride in the rain!

The cycling through beautiful and varied scenery, great wine tasting, and most
of all the fabulous company made for a great trip.

I was the mule as I was the only with paniers. My 9 bottles of the wine weighed
25 lbs or 11.4 kgs so with Adam & Margaret's I was probably carrying around 22
kgs!

Congrats to Adam for riding when the weather could have been very wet (but
wasn't) as we know how you hate inclimate weather riding {;->


Special congrats to Margaret for completing her first 50k ... next goal will
have to be a century {:->
